WELCOME
Hi, I'm Madeleine.
I'm a Holistic RN, a certified personal trainer, a yoga teacher, and a mama. But more than any of those titles, I'm someone who lived through burnout and anxiety, found her way back, and built the thing she wishes had existed for her.
Here's how I got here.

I've always been passionate about health, and I truly believed nursing was about caring for people from the inside out. But once I was in it, I realized that's not really what our Western system is built for. So much of it is a band-aid.
And I want to be clear. That's not the fault of any one doctor or nurse. It's the whole system, from how we're trained all the way up to how much the pharmaceutical world runs the show. We're caring for six or seven patients at a time and treating the loudest symptom with a prescription. There's almost no room left for real, whole-person care, or for teaching people how to actually get well.
For years, something about it didn't sit right with me. And I kept thinking it was just me. Why don't I feel connected to this? But the truth was, I was working against my own values, before I was even clear on what those values were.
The stress caught up with me. My anxiety got so high I could barely focus some days. And during COVID, it all came to a head. I had a breakdown at work, and I knew, deep down, that I could not keep living that way.
So I did the thing I now teach other women to do. I stopped pushing.
I slowed down. I changed the way I worked out, because I realized all my heavy lifting was keeping my nervous system stuck in fight-or-flight. I traded some of the hard for real recovery. I cleaned up what I was putting in and on my body, cut out alcohol, and started paying attention to how I actually felt.
And slowly, my anxiety went from unbearable to almost nonexistent. Not from a prescription. From changing my life.
Functional medicine. Gut health. Cellular nutrition. Breathwork and learning to regulate my own nervous system. Holistic birth. Yoga, the real kind, the kind that honors rest as much as effort. I learned that we glorify the hard work in this country and forget that healing lives in the balance.
Then I had my daughter. I wanted a home birth and ended up birthing in a hospital, so I got to experience both, and honestly, I'm grateful I did. Becoming a mama lit a fire under all of it. I took my low-tox living to about ninety percent, from our cookware to our water to the air we breathe.
And that's when it clicked. If I, a nurse who has studied health her whole life, felt this lost and this unwell, then so many other women must feel it too. I didn't want anyone else to figure it out alone.
So The Holistic Momma was born.

You don't need to bounce back. There's nothing to bounce back to. You're becoming someone new, and so is your body.
I believe in healing from the inside out. In building strength from a steady foundation instead of forcing it. In balancing the hard work with real recovery, because we don't do nearly enough of that. And I believe your own intuition, paired with the best of modern medicine and practices that are thousands of years old, is more powerful than we've been taught.
I sit in a rare place. I understand Western medicine, and I understand Eastern and holistic practices. So I can help you bridge the two. I can tell you honestly where our system falls short, and I can walk beside you toward something that actually feels aligned.

Whether you're preparing for a baby, healing postpartum, or simply ready to feel like yourself again, we'll go slowly, gently, and on your terms.
Your strength was never the problem. Let's reconnect you to it.
